Die Geschichte

Perched on top of a hill in the middle of the Wasgau mountains, you will marvel on the natural beauty of this place. Steeped in history, this castle goes as far back to the 11th century and was the seat of power for multiple Dutchies and lords. It actually burned down in 1602 because of a lightning strike and was used for spare parts until 1841 where the Kingdom of Bavaria attempted restorations. The castle is today a well-preserved part of history and made enjoyable for public consumption.
