Luckily for us, our means of conveyance on the day of discovery was per velo which enabled us to stop and admire these normally skittish forest creatures. They come in all sizes and they love it when you bring them something to eat, which, unfortunately for them, we were unable to spare the room as we had no trunk space as well as no trunks on our two-wheeled, manually propelled vehicles.

Fortunately on this day, there were some eager children that gleefully chucked day-old bread over the fence where their newly aquainted spotted forest friends were more than obliged to take them off of their little hands. So occustomed to humans they are, that they will nuzzle your hand through the fence in order to ensure that you are not hiding any baked-up treats.
