Meet the common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus). This little guy is everywhere! Sometimes on the tippy-top of a tree, sometimes “hovering” on a breeze, always looking for a snack.
He loves field mice (nature’s popcorn) and he was probably looking for some in this picture. We were surprised that he let us get this close to him so we could get this bomb of a picture.
