The Story

Although this location is further away than 1 hour, it is added to our site nonetheless.

Established in December, 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge, these solemn grounds are home to over 5,000 American soldiers and airmen who perished during World War 2. This cemetary is managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission and has 17 acres of immmaculately manicured lawns. This “Garden of Stone” is watched over by the grave of one of the most influential American Generals in history and he remains vigilant for his troops for all eternity.

Tips for your visit

The cemetary is not far from Luxembourg City and there is plenty of parking.
