The Story

The wonderful lake is tucked into a picturesque valley smack dab in the middle of the Dolomite Mountains of northern Italy. At an elevation nearing 5,000 feet, the pine trees provide a lot of shade along it’s shores.

Fancy a boat ride? The lake is famous for it’s wooden row boats and is super popular for visitors. If you want to partake, be sure to get there early because the lines get long. And no, they do not provide a rower for you so get ready to exercise!

Into hiking? There are trails galore and you can use the lake as your trail head. Grad something to eat at the hotel and be sure to indulge in some gelato!
