When it opened in 2001, it was the largest retail outlet in Germany and still carries that torch.
The outlet center hosts over 3 million shoppers a year with a quarter of those travelling from as far away as Holland and it is open on many Sundays throughout the year (although we recommend avoiding those days due to the crowds)

It is recommended to go during the week or on American holidays because European holidays and weekends see this place thronging with people from as far away as Luxembourg and Holland. There is plenty of free parking. There is also an ice rink behind the outlets, so bring your skates!
